The room was extremely pleasant and neat, included with a king-sized mattress and fridge. the hotel was in a comfortable and easy location.

Easy access from motorway, self catering facilities in room, nice outlook.

It was a lovely building with character and the room was roomy with a good sized bathroom - although there could have been better lighting.

It was a lovely airy breakfast room but there could have been a bit more selection on the breakfast menu (for example fresh and dried fruits) for a price of 8 Euros which a think is quite expensive for cereal and bread or croissant.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal, within walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit.

We liked the location of the hotel by the lake and that it was a very quiet location with secure parking. We were breaking our journey down to the south of France and so had a lot of luggage in our car, plus two expensive mountain bikes. The security of our vehicle was important to us. The breakfast was lovely.

It's a shame that the hotel is situated in Bourges. We got totally lost trying to find a restaurant in which to eat in the evening, and what we saw of the town, we really didn't like at all. The road signs were inconsistent and misleading. We are frequent travellers to France and so know the road systems, and it was just by luck that we found our way back to the hotel after an hour of going round in circles trying to find non-existent restaurants. We finally gave up and drove back to the hotel, parked the car and went to the little lake-side restaurant by the lake which served ok food.

a perfect stopover, lovely rooms and close to Bourges centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were light, airy, well furnished and comfortable. It was very good value and we could not fault it. Much nicer than a chain hotel.

The location of this hotel near a walking path and the town centre was marvelous. the delightful garden with a beautiful dining area was a highlight. - the proximity to local restaurants was great. - Manoir du Beugnon being only 2 km away was convenient.

The hotel had a great location just outside of Bourges at a lake. The rooms were a lot better than what we had expected from other reviews.

The room had useful amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, and TV, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was comfortable, all in a convenient location just outside the city.

Very nice location, tidy room and very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Lake-side view is nice.

Breakfast is has not much to offer, though the quality of the food was good. The hotel does not have a restaurant. You can buy some beer or wine at the reception (ask for glasses too!).

The elegant room was lovely, and the fabulous view over the lake was amazing. It was great to have a microwave oven and refrigerator in the room. the location was beautiful and convenient - we could relax in the garden with a drink and Bourges, where the cathedral is a must-see, was close by.

Not really what I would call a chateau but a very pleasant place to stay. The staff were friendly and rooms clean. Bourges is a lovely town and a worthwhile stopover if you are travelling south.

This hotel is an excellent overnight stop when travelling through France. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and the rooms more than adequate for a short stay.

Not a problem for me as I was aware of the location but a car is essential if stopping here.
